    New York Travel Diary

First agenda for Day 2: Statue of Liberty! As I’ve mentioned in my previous blog, booked the tour online through Statue Cruises. Woke up early and made sure to eat breakfast. It was also my first time to take the New York subway and was kind of nervous to be honest! 😅 Dean and Deluca was only one block away from the hotel, it was so accessible that I got to sip a good coffee in morning to kickstart the day. I looked bundled up here because the weather was cold! We took a side trip to the World Trade Center before heading up to the Battery Park where we…

    Anyway, New York!!!

It was my third time in New York and the last visit was purely for a vacation! A fullfillment to be hands-on with the planning and everything, didn’t seek guidance from Travel Agent or anything but only went by Google and Travel Blogs as reference for this trip! From Los Angeles to Las Vegas, flew in to Cleveland, Ohio to spend a week with my cousin who lived there and then flew (once again) to Washington, DC for another week, and travelled to New York by Amtrak to end the US trip.  It pretty much help that I had a glimpse of NYC whilst working onboard so I had a…

LIVING THE BEST LIFE: West Rim, Grand Canyon

From LA, we flew in to Las Vegas and the main agenda was to go to the Grand Canyon. Walked out in summer wear because the temperature then was almost the same as the Philippines! Anyway, yes the tour was booked online through Grand Canyon Destinations. We had an excellent bus service (air conditioned luxury motor coach), friendly driver and guide. The package actually includes box lunch which is served before arriving the Canyon. We’ve also added the Skywalk tour which was worth doing. See these actual stunning view with Hoover dam and Lake Mead stops. (and with too much excitement, I didn’t realize there were only five pictures taken in…

    AROUND LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA

I’ve essentially been wanting to update my blog, yet, free time has never been easy these past months and work was overwhelming too! And now while on vacation, I am being reminded of putting colors to those pieces that were left empty since the beginning of 2019! So after going on a number of travels for work, I must say that 2018 was dear to me as I had  numerous trips  for comfort and leisure as well. One of them was to spend vacation in the US for almost a month and had the best time enjoying as a total tourist! First stop was in Anaheim for which Disneyland Park is…

    Mdina, Malta

And I am back with my first post for my birth month, July! I had picked the best tourist destination in Malta, which is not surprisingly, Mdina, and had managed to take enough photos of their old town. Hope you enjoy the photos as much as I have loved touring this extraordinary place. Locals and tourists merge in this busy street of the old city. The narrow alleys and quiet hidden streets had engaged me to what it was exactly like in the old times. And just a piece of advice, whilst there is an opportunity to travel, grab these chances and experience them all. All the best, Julie 🙂
